That was easy!

Kevin and I were feeling it was time to take away Levi's "Pipie" (aka Pacifier). Our plan was to do it when we got back from California in July, however it didn't happen...

So we got back from camping over Labor Day weekend and Levi basically just lost interest in it. He wasn't ever asking for it and to be honest we only had few Pipes left...and we only knew where one was. Well he went 4 days without it, when he asked one night before bed where it was. We kinda just left it alone and he went to bed that night without it. He asked again the following night and we did the same thing. Ever since then he has been fine without it!

Wow, that was easy!! Our plan was to have the "Pipie Fairy" come and take his Pipes away and leave him a prize, like we did with Caleb. But way to go Levi, he did it all on his own!

Now if only potty training Levi was this easy!!

It's SOCCER time!!

Well our SOCCER season has started...Ethan had his 1st game this past Saturday. His team name is "Green Tigers" and he is #5. Ethan scored a goal, so that was super exciting! Right away Caleb yells "looks like the technique I taught you worked!" Caleb was busy being a big brother coach to Ethan the entire game. Caleb's 1st SOCCER game is this week Saturday and he can't wait! He said it was so hard having to watch Ethan and not being able to play. I said, now you know how Ethan has felt for the last 2 years! We are so excited to have Ethan playing SOCCER this year and looking forward to a fun year of SOCCER with both our boys!

Who gets to get stung?

Levi comes running in the house and says "there is a Bee outside!" Ethan and then Caleb come in right behind him and I hear Caleb saying this to Ethan..."You and Levi need to be the first to get in the house. If anyone is to get stung it should be me. That is my job as the older brother!" Ethan responds with, "Well if you are at school, then I will be the one to get stung. And if we are both at school, then mom will be the one to get stung."

"The harvest is good"

Those are the words I have been hearing from my boys the past few weeks. Everyday they go out to the garden and come back with loads of Tomatoes, a handful of Strawberries, and maybe a few Beans or Sweet Peas. Right now we have SO many Roma Tomatoes...Kevin and the boys made really good fresh Salsa and we have given lots of Tomatoes away, but there is still tons left! If you would like some, please let us know we would
love to share them with you!!

Shots...

Today the boys and I had to go to our Pediatrician's office so Ethan could get his 5 year shots before school starts. I found it quite interesting how Caleb seemed more concerned about it than Ethan. All morning Caleb kept saying he didn't want to come along, but we all made it there...as usual Caleb got carsick on the ride there and Ethan had to pee, just our typical ride! :) As we sat in the waiting room we saw all the kids get called back, until we were the last ones in there. Ethan looks at me and says "I am next" and Caleb says "can I stay in the waiting room?" Well we get called back and it was our lucky day, because we were able to get two "combo" shots, which means Ethan only had to have 2 shots, instead of 4!! The nurse was going to do it in his arm, however looked at him and said "why don't we do it in his leg". Ethan did great and Caleb helped by trying to make him laugh by saying things like "I am weirdo", etc. After it was all done and Ethan was picking out his prize, Levi says to the nurse "YOU HURT ETHAN!" The poor nurse felt so bad! And I just couldn't help but laugh, as well as smile because of all the love and concern Caleb and Levi had for Ethan!

Sweaty boy..

Of all three boys Levi is our "sweater"
...it doesn't matter if he's outside playing
or just waking up from a nap, he will be head to toe sweat!
Right now we are in the process of potty training him
and we talk about pee a lot. So now when he gets all sweaty he says,
"I peed, I peed" or "I all pee"!! :)

"Star Wars Night"

This past Saturday, Kevin and I took the boys to the
Whitecaps Baseball game.
The theme for the night was "Star Wars" so you know our boys
had a good time...from getting their picture taken with Star Wars characters,
to their glowing Light Sabers,
and of course to end the night Fireworks to Star Wars music!
We all had a great time and left with some pretty excited Jedi, I mean boys! :)

Caleb's Fancy Nancy Day

This past Monday Caleb's class had a Fancy Nancy Day, and it sure was a lot of fun! A few months back his class set a reading goal for the whole class. If they met that goal they would have a party based on a book they like to read. Well they met their goal and chose Fancy Nancy....Caleb's teacher was quite surprised that the boys were okay with it, but they said they thought those books were funny! So Fancy Nancy it was and they all had a great day! From playing games, to decorating cookies, the photo shoot, and of course reading the Fancy Nancy books! Ethan, Levi, and I were able to come check it out for awhile. Caleb and all his friends were such little studs in their outfits! I wish I would of taken some pictures of the girls, because they were all looking pretty cute as well!
Enjoy the pictures!

THE BIG CATCH....

Last night after supper the boys wanted Kevin to come in the backyard and "catch" some things...the usual "catch" is Frogs, Tadpoles, Minos, and a Turtle or two. However last night this is what my very happy, excited, and shocked boys caught...

Now our creek isn't that big, so we aren't quite sure where or how they came, but it sure made for an exciting night!

Both Caleb and Ethan wanted to hold these big 18 inch Bass! We have a pond in our neighborhood so Kevin and the boys took them there to let them go.
